It's so quiet here with all the first years and everyone gone! I was with them last year, of course, so I've never been here for most of a December before.
I suppose I should say that by quiet I mean relatively quiet, since I think the only way it would be quiet here is if it were all completely abandoned, and even then I'm not so sure!
I hope everyone on the island is doing well! And good luck!

[ The entry begins with April holding her breath, then letting it out in a heavy sigh. Her hair is a fetching shade of pink, and her cheeks are nearly matching it. She is clearly embarrassed. ]
I do NOT [hic] think this is very fu[hic]nny. Oh blast.
I need a [hic] good fright, I sup[hic]pose. Holding my breath doesn't seem [hic] to be working.
And this color is [hic] horrid.

I think we ought to start practising our caroling! Christmas is getting much closer and we'll all want to sound good.
What is everyone's favorite carol? I think I like "Here We Come a-Wassailing" the best, and how appropriate!
